roses

I've never been a huge fan of roses.  More specifically, I've never been a huge fan of long-stemmed roses, the sad things you see for sale in the dead of winter that have no smell and are completely unimaginative in size and color.  I don't like *those* roses.  But in season roses?  The ones that are blooming right now?  With their subtle fragrance and deep color?  These roses, I adore.
