More ocean

I can't believe my vacation has been over for a week. Feels like such a distant memory . . . I need to plan some more no cost day trips this summer and explore more of my state! On one day of my vacation I drove up to Rockport and Gloucester, MA, two fishing/tourist towns about an hour north of Boston. I had been to Rockport over the summer during tourist season. When I went last week it was a completely different experience. It was a beautiful spring day and all of the shops and restaurants were still closed for the winter season. You could literally see the town start to come to life. These pictures might look familiar to some of you. My mom tells me Rockport, MA was used as Sitka, AK in the Sandra Bullock movie The Proposal. I love the red building and all of the colorful buoys.
