Ocean

I've been on vacation this week. It's been wonderful! Sadly I wasn't able to really get out of town but I did take a couple of day trips. The weather this week has been amazing - mid 60s, beautiful sunshine, SPRING! - so it seemed only fitting to head to the shore to soak up the sun, clear my head and watch the waves roll in.

I love the ocean. I love the currents and the tides and the constant ebb and flow of the water. There is something so restorative about watching the water and looking out on the horizon, just thinking and dreaming. I can (and have) watch the ocean for hours at a time. These shots are from Newport, RI. Most of these shots are from the Cliff Walk, a 4 mile or so walking path that overlooks the ocean. I would have loved to take a piece of the view home with me.
