I am not posting any New Year's resolutions this year and it ain't because I'm perfect and have nothing I need to work on :-) I have many things I need to work on and spent the better part of the afternoon yesterday reflecting on 2010 and thinking about 2011. I am changing the focus of this blog slightly in 2011. Or rather, I am changing it back to the way it was before I lost my mind and fell into a darkness that I can't shake. I will now be paying someone to listen to me cry and whine and freak out on a regular basis while this blog will act as an oasis for good things - adventures, cooking experiments, pictures, projects and more pictures. I am not trying to gloss over my unhappiness but I am tired of giving it a voice and letting it consume every single thought that I have. I am grateful to you, my faithful and kind readers, for putting up with it all. There's more to me than my unhappiness; I hope to find it in 2011.May 2011 be filled with laughter, health, peace and joy!

ReplyDeleteI don't find your blog's current focus to be whiny or depressing, just honest. With lots of humor and beautiful photos thrown in. :) But I'll keep reading and enjoying it, whatever the focus.
On a side note, I need your mailing address! Can you send me an email via facebook or regular email? I tore the return address on the pkg you sent, and lost half. Please send me your mailing address! I have a card for you!
